Uniformly Convergent Scheme for Singularly Perturbed Space Delay Parabolic Differential Equation with Discontinuous Convection Coefficient and Source Term

چکیده

A singularly perturbed delay parabolic problem of convection-diffusion type with a discontinuous convection coefficient and source term is examined. In the problem, strong interior layers weak boundary are exhibited due to large in spatial variable discontinuity source. The discretized by nonstandard finite difference scheme for time derivative, we used Crank–Nicolson scheme. To enhance order convergence variable, Richardson extrapolation technique applied. error analysis proposed was carried out proved that uniformly convergent second both temporal variables. Numerical experiments performed verify theoretical estimates.

Singularly perturbed differential equations with discontinuous source terms . ∗

In this paper a singularly perturbed reaction-diffusion equation with a discontinuous source term is examined. A numerical method is constructed for this problem which involves an appropriate piecewise-uniform mesh. The method is shown to be uniformly convergent with respect to the singular perturbation parameter. Numerical results are presented which validate the theoretical results.
